After a successful career in video production and marketing, I’m now transitioning into IT support. My background has equipped me with strong transferable skills such as solving technical problems under pressure, managing projects and people, and providing excellent customer service.
I've always had an aptitude for IT and how things work - the first PC we had in our family was a 486 with Windows 3.1 (and actual floppy disks.) I remember very vividly the first time I plugged in all the peripherals correctly into the back of the computer. My dad was a Computer Analyst and many moons ago I myself was "Microsoft Certified Professional" qualified... but then my training organisation mysteriously disappeared!
I love working with and helping people, and that’s always been at the heart of what drives me. Pair that with an excitement for how modern-day infrastructure works and where it’s heading and you’ll see why this new direction feels like the right thing for me.
You'll find me on a mountain, in the sea or on a lake in my sailing dinghy in my spare time. I also love a good pun.
